A wooden doll covered in paper. Yup, that's all paper that makes her dress.
A tree covered in Basic Grey buttons.
As I go through more of my pictures, I will try to post some of what I liked. There's some good stuff out there. The trend that Susan and I noticed making a comeback is distressing. Rough paper edges, torn paper, etc.

Hey, I heard that Rusty Pickle was there after all. Not sure how we missed them? I thought we were pretty thorough in seeing everything! You need to post about the waxy glue used for inks. That stuff was cool! Also I liked our "crackle" samples we got. Liked seeing the new techniques we learned... But, yes, it is true that the lines were "few." But, hey, maybe we can "catch up" now on all of our "own" supplies - hee hee. Oh, and we did NOT order the "Ricky" line from Basic Grey... it was the other two.
Great review, Krista. Looking forward to more pics from you (we all seem to pick up on different stuff). There were no big "stand outs" for me this year either. Smaller, quieter show, for sure. Lots of focus on techniques this year. I'm loving the renewed attention on distressing and vintage/retro.
