As you can see it's relatively simple and heavy on the journaling. I took some twill ribbon and ran a stitch in and out of the top. Then I took the two ends and pulled to give it that pleated look. The burlap heart is actually a wooden heart (from Michaels). I adhered the burlap to the top and then roughly cut around the edge of the heart.
