Teacher Appreciation continues

Forgot to take pics of today's gifts (a post-it notepad with a tag that said, "Just a note to say how much I appreciate all you do for us!".

Moving on, tomorrow's are once again simple, but hopefully meaningful. I picked up some bookmarks from the local book store. With a coordinating ribbon, I tied on a tag that say, "Just as this gift will mark an important place in a book, so have you marked an important place in my life and my memories. Thank you!"

Teacher Appreciation Idea - Just the "write" teacher magnets

So I love my girls' teachers! They are saints and I wanted to do something for them each day of Teacher Appreciation Week. For Monday, they picked a flower and gave it to them. Tonight I wanted to do something more for tomorrow. But I can't afford to spend a lot of money. So I busted out my handy dandy Quickutz Revolution manual die cutting machine. If you don't have one, you can totally hand cut. Or if you have an electronic die cutting machine, you can find what you need online.

So here's what I ended up with ... pencils, paper pieced together, with hot glued magnets on the back:

I then simply packaged them up in a clear bag, backed with some white cardstock. Super easy to complete. They're not the sturdiest of magnets because they are made of paper. I put 2 magnets on the back to hopefully help the magnet hold up against usage. I figured if it only had 1 in the center, the paper was more likely to bend.

No clue what I will do for Wednesday, Thursday or Friday. I am for sure giving gift cards to their favorite eatery, but I still have to decide how to package them up.
